Furniture Donation through ‘Ocoee Thrift Mart’

Locals Helping Locals

According to Jacqueline “Thrift-Mart’s motto is locals helping locals”. The strain on our economy has had a major impact on the financial support that charities are receiving. We think this is a good way to raise money to help people in need, right here in our community. The Ocoee Thrift Mart gives their customers very reasonable prices for many household goods and clothing. The mission is to raise funds through reducing, reusing and recycling gently used donated items. We turn the donations into cash which can be given to charities that help local people in need.

Cancer Awareness, Breast Cancer Walk

Locals Helping Locals

Ending breast cancer is making strides with the 5K Walk of Orlando Metro, FL. Just a few hours of your time will help bring a change for people and their families facing breast cancer.

The breast cancer walks are powerful and inspiring opportunities to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from breast cancer, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.
